Live Workshop with Bev Morgan
Before commercial paints were available, artists and their apprentices created watercolours from scratch using pigments and a binder. Some artists still make their paints by hand—a slower process, but a wonderful way to connect with the unique properties of each pigment. In this class, you’ll make your own pigments and then use them to paint delicate feather bookmarks in watercolour. Class fee includes all supplies, surfaces, and tools needed to take this class.
Workshop Date: June 15, 2026, 9 am to 4 pm
Location: Southampton Art Centre, 201 High Street, Southampton
Application Deadline: Please register by June 1st. Places are limited to 12 artists.
