The Artist Directory will be updated regularly as the FCA Board becomes aware of changes to our membership. If you are an FCA Toronto artist and would like to update your profile, please contact us.
In the near future, we plan to offer different versions of the directory whereby artists are sorted by region and national FCA status.
The Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA) recognizes artist members by the level they have achieved through the FCA’s jurying process: exhibiting, associate (AFCA) and signature (SFCA) members. To find out more about FCA’s membership levels, click here.

Associate FCA Member. Toronto-based Dina Belaia uses dry media (graphite, pastel) for her analytical approach to her drawings. She follows the school of Analytical Art whereby one draws the essence of things rather than the surface, leading the viewer to reflect on matters of inner life and the human condition.

Associate FCA Member. Inspired by the Barbizon School and Tonalism, Virginia aims to capture the poetry of a landscape with moody, idyllic dawn and twilight lighting, demonstrating, with oil on canvas, the atmospheric effects upon the landscape. Mostly a self-taught artist, her work is found in private collections, juried and solo exhibits across Canada and the US.

Ink and paper are his primary tools of the trade. The intertwined images in his drawings create somewhat of a mysterious surreal landscape with a hint of darkness. Imagination plays a key role in the fruition of his works. Each and every piece of work is tended to with a special care, some lay dormant for several years before they are finally completed.
