FCAToronto Artists get ready to submit to our next show FRESH PAINT! at the
Alton Mills Gallery.
Fresh Paint! is open for 2-D submissions by FCAToronto Exhibiting members, and Signature members. This exhibition will be filled with light and movement, where interesting blends of paint and colour flows free!
Members should expect to help with this show and are required to sit it and/or help with hanging, the reception or take down. Sales will be done with e-transfer or cheques.
Since this gallery is a tourist destination, paintings will be taken down and given to the purchaser as they are sold.
The gallery itself will be open from Wednesday to Sunday each week of our tenure. The Pond Gallery is a lovely well-lit room with views of a pond from the gallery windows.
There are great spots at the gallery for some plein air painting while sitting the show if you wish.
Fresh Paint implies that the work is recent, and the show is open to all mediums and genres. Submit your best work to this juried show. Signature points will be earned.
Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place as well as 3 Honourable Mentions. Carol Loeb SFCA will be our juror for the awards.
FCAToronto will take 10% commission on each sale and the gallery takes 20% on total sales over $3000.

Important dates:
- Submissions though FCA headquarters from March 31 to April 30, 2025
- Results to artists by May 10
- Submission up to 5 possible with a maximum of 3 accepted, max size 48”
$25 for first entry and $15 for each other submission. 50 paintings will be shown - Take in June 10, 10am-12 Noon and hanging that afternoon. If you can not deliver that morning, arrangements may be made for earlier delivery.
